Background

My name is Noriaki OBA and I'm from Japan.
I've been with the group since 2008 and I also belong to Technova Inc., which is a Brain Trust in Japan for advanced technology.
Before that, I was a Ph.D student of Kyoto University, Kinso (solid state physics and chemistry related to phase transitions of transition metal compounds) laboratory for 4 years (without diploma). I changed my field to energy issues of the world.

Research activities

"Non conventional energy resources for the auto motor industry"

1. Biofuel Production

  • Algae oil production

2. The other non conventional automotor fuels

  • CTL, methanol, DME, GTL, unconventional Gas, heavy oil, methane-hydrate...

3. Electric Car

  • Hybrid car, Electric car
  • Nuclear power plant, CCS technology

4. City traffic and logistics

  • The effect of decreasing logistics and freight transportation for the world society

5. Social simulation

  • Agent based simulation to find intrinsic difference between pre- and post-peakoil society
